Enjoy a day in the park!

Parkfest, an annual community day of fun features live music, an art show, historical displays and films, published authors, a classic car show, food, and more!

A premiere site along the historic Morris Canal Greenway, Lock 7 West became known as “Bread Lock” because the store at the end of the lock sold goods to boatmen passing through back in the mid-19th century, including homemade bread and pies. While still buried, the remains of the lock itself speak to the historical significance of this site as part of the larger Morris Canal Greenway.

ParkFest is hosted by the Warren County Parks Foundation and the Warren County Morris Canal Committee, with support from the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Warren County Planning Department, Land Preservation Department, Public Information Department, the Explore Warren County Tourism Partnership and other sponsors.
