There is a place where HOPE can become fact
Little Hill Foundation, Alina Lodge and Haley House are excited to offer their Third Annual – Up, Up and Away – A running event featuring 5K and 5M races in support of Little Hill Foundation. The event will take place at the Blairstown (New Jersey) Airport on October 12, 2019 starting at 9:30am. Skydive Sussex provides an amazing patriotic sky dive before the start of the race.
Over 300 guests took part in their 2018 event. The Blairstown Airport is a beautiful backdrop for runners and skydivers. This event offers fantastic prizes for overall winners and a variety of local vendors. All proceeds benefit Little Hill Foundation’s Alina Lodge and Haley House addictions treatment and recovery.

Since 2016, the Blairstown Museum has supported this event as both a sponsor and a participating vendor. By supporting the Up, Up & Away 5K/5Mile event, we help make addiction treatment affordable and available for all who seek it.

Little Hill Foundation
The mission of Little Hill Foundation for the Rehabilitation of Alcoholics is to operate Alina Lodge and Haley House for the purpose of helping people attain and maintain a life of sobriety. Alina Lodge was founded in 1957 by Mrs. Geraldine Owen Delaney and she served as the Executive Director for nearly four decades. “Mrs. D” was a legend in the field of alcoholism treatment and was instrumental in the treatment and recovery of many alcoholics and their family members.
She inspired thousands of people to regain their lives and to live sober. Through her own example of 50 years of sobriety, Mrs. Delaney helped people come to believe that “hope can become fact”. She believed it – she lived it.
Born in Stonington, IL., Mrs. Delaney was the wife of the late Thomas F. Delaney. She received her formal education at Knox College in Galesburg, IL. and the University of Illinois. She received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Seton Hall University. Presidents, Governors, and the American Medical Association have honored Mrs. Delaney over the years.
Her passion for giving people hope lives on at Alina Lodge and Haley House!
